    Nice looking watch.

Hey, I edited your title to say "maroon" since I think that was the color you were talking about. Here in Joizey, "marone" isn't a word usually used to describe a Speedmaster. :p

The faded bezel and the hands have been replaced by the first owner, dial, case and caseback are original. 145012-67. regards thomas

For that asking price I hope the seller is including the black dial example...
Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful watch. Just as with Rolex, I never understood the premium for watches that showcase a defect...

As a man who will pay for a brown dial, I feel this watch is not so interesting...but I make no criticism of someone who outbids me on a watch like this. Its all down to personal taste, and we must buy what we like, not what everyone tells us is "good".

I have seen redish brown dials before, indeed I own one, but I do not want to pay the same for a red brown dial as a "galaxy" brown.

That said this watch, which as others have noticed is/was on the market for over Euros4000 appears in good condition, the dial especially nice condition.

The bezel, while old, is not what everyone expects to see on this vintage.

I reserve judgement awaiting more detailed shots. At the moment I am not 100% convinced - 90% maybe, about the dial's originality. Its SO good...More photos please!

So far so good...just wary on the price advertised

Have you read the headline of the FS AD ?

It does not say 145012 but 1450012 which means it is a replacement (watchco??) case or at least case back...
