路Due to recent acquisitions, I've gotta sell a couple Speedmasters (please note, this is the only Cal.321, sorry!). First one up is my 145.012-67 with its original warranty papers (printed 3/67, signed and dated 8/68).
The AML dial is in great condition and the lume has such a wonderful patina to it - I believe it's the original lume and have taken some macro shots. The bezel is very good, with a couple of small marks at 140 & 160, and a few other minor marks here and there. The hands are original, and have aged to an awesome dark coffee brown.
The case has probably been polished sometime in its almost 50-year lifespan, but still retains a beautiful bevel on the sides. Pushers are correct (originality not known), and the crown is the correct-for-this-reference, original narrow-foot logo. The crystal is a replacement with a few tiny scratches not particularly visible without a loupe, and I have an older crystal that I will include, but I don't know if that one was the original either as I think it had a more modern logo.
The caseback outer is somewhat worn down, and has a few old scratches from poor attempts to open it (not added by me!) but the Seahorse and logo are still readable. Caseback inner reads 145.012-67.
The caliber 321 movement is in fantastic condition, keeping great time and the chrono functions exactly as it should. Serial number is 26070846 which is in the correct range for a 145.012-67 produced on the later end of their production run, and matches with the 1968 registration on the papers.
Speaking of the papers, they're in great condition, protected by a plastic bag. The inner card is of course missing as it was (almost certainly) sent to Omega at the time of registration, but the booklet is otherwise completely intact and will last a very long time.
The watch was just serviced by my watchmaker here in NY; he isn't very big on documentation unfortunately. So, in the absence of that documentation, I think it's a fair idea to guarantee it myself - if you purchase this watch and have a problem within 1 year, send it back to me at my cost (CONUS; if you are international please send it to me at your cost, and I will return it at my cost).
The watch will come on the handsome navy-blue leather NATO pictured. It's a fairly new strap and looks great IMO, but it's up to you how to wear it 馃槈
I think I've been thorough in my description, please take a look at the photos for more; don't hesitate to request anything specific you'd like to see!
I'm asking $7300 for this awesome watch. I know it's on the high side, but this is a great intersection between a collector piece (with the papers) and a wearable one. Feel free to make an offer of course 馃榾 I've enjoyed wearing it every time I put it on and I really think / hope you will too!
Payment would be via PayPal or bank wire, all fees and express insured shipping included. Happy to provide some references if you like!
