    Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67

    Serial 26553315

    Provenance:
Bought by me from the owner 2015 who owned it for a very long time. I serviced it with Serviced by SwissTec, invoice T51049, December 2016. (One year guarantee). and then it was stored in humidity and temperature controlled environment. During service the crystal, pushers and hands were replaced. I had the dial and the hands relumed by a specialist who only does this work. It is almost impossible to identify unless I tell you. (Which is why I do).
    1-P4200005-005.JPG

    Condition:
Fabulous dial and hands. Case back shows some scratches and the case is also worn – apparently unpolished. It really does show all evidence of single ownership where the watch has been worn. The DO90 bezel is in excellent condition with a slight grey fade - one small patch by the "R".

    06-P4200004-002.JPG
Dial is super clean and the printing is clear. New hands were fitted. The dial is relumed and hands were also lumed to match. If I did not tell you I dont think many would know, but I believe in full disclosure. 02-P4200017-002.JPG
Caseback shows 145.012-67SP and shows several watchmakers marks.
    01-P4200009-003.JPG
Movement is in correct range, and in good clean condition. 04-P4200022-002.JPG

Note the column wheel, and screw heads are all in good condition:

    1-P4200020-002.JPG
Serial is clear and and clean:
1-P4200021-003.JPG Caseback shows signs of careless openings - I have not polished it as the whole watch seems to have escaped polish so far - just wear.
    07-P4200005-003.JPG
Sides are good and thick, once again showing signs of wear, but the lines are all there. 08-P4200006-003.JPG
Pushers were replaced at service 10-P4200008-004.JPG
    12-P4200011-003.JPG 13-P4200012-004.JPG 14-P4200013-004.JPG 15-P4200014-003.JPG 16-P4200015-003.JPG

    17-P4200016-003.JPG

    Why am I selling?

I am refocusing my collection selling watches where I have more than one of a reference. This watch is ideal to wear as the case is already marked, while the dial and bezel are excellent.

The strap is hand made leather, and comes with an Omega buckle. (I assume it to be a repro).

    1-P4200001-003.JPG

    SALES TERMS

I only sell to refocus my collection. I am not motivated by profit and so I have no reason to embellish or over describe. I have been on ebay since 2002 with 100% feedback. I have bought and sold a few watches on www.OmegaForums.net and you can find my feedback by searching my username. I am the author of www.Speedmaster101.com and so you can understand protecting my reputation is first.

Price includes insured delivery in the UK or USA, and will include delivery elsewhere unless you have some expensive needs.

Returns are welcome if you don’t cost me anything to get it back to me and the watch is in the same condition as it arrived with you.

I am a private collector who rarely sells. When I do, most of the time my watches sell very quickly, and to the first person that PM’s me with the words, “I will buy this watch now at your price”.

    I believe in full disclosure.

In the past several people have been upset because although they are the first to reply, they ask if I can do a better price – meanwhile someone has agreed my price.

I am not in the slightest bit offended by offers, but remember that they will only make sense if the watch remains unsold after a few days.

Delivery can usually be facilitated almost anywhere

    Payment
Payment by Bank Transfer is preferred for these larger amounts to my HSBC bank in Hong Kong, I propose we both exchange ID copies and speak by phone to feel comfortable. Face to face is always welcome. (UK for next two weeks then Chicago).

My wife is loving it, and so am I. I just dont like paying for it. And every time I think I have a little cash, some thing comes along and I get into more trouble. Also I only list when I come to UK and so I have to do them in groups. I would go to Ebay, but I rather sell to people that even if I don't actually know you, someone here does.
    These were the latest temptation(s):

I remember when you posted that photo, those are indeed very tempting. I probably would have to sell my house to afford them, but tempting none the less. Well, we're all better off when you are strapped for cash I suppose, especially the lucky ones to purchase your pieces.

Lovely project William! Back in 1970's I did the second half of my brickwork apprenticeship restoring old buildings in London and Surrey. Am I right to presume a bit of underpinning was needed? Very reassuring to get those bonded concrete blocks and semi engineering bricks taking the load from that old brickwork above and whatever is sitting on it??? Lovely!

The bit that made me smile in your photograph is the optomistic little temporary, timber prop 'jacking up' that projection of old brickwork to the left. Wacked in there!... just in case the old quarter bonding and lime mortar decides it's had enough???:)
A two pound hammer, sharp two inch bolster and a gentle touch is needed when you get around to tidying it up. In fact on some of the old chimney breasts we had to drill out the joints to be on the safe side. Couldn't risk too much hammering. These old projects are very much draw up the plans, and amend as you go depending on what you find.

Hope it all goes well! (Oh and a lovely watch as well)
    Jonathan.

    Mmmm... I wanna see that!

Funny, but did the list price on the watch go away? I can't find it!

Edit: Oh, never mind .... I see it in the title!

Yes I always put my price at the head of the listings - why? Because I find myself scrolling through other listings searching for the price, but if it's in the title you know what the money is before you begin.

It seems to me the second most important piece of info, after what it is.
