I had sold this last year, but the buyer pulled out and I have been to busy to reoffer until now. I have adjusted the price as on reflection I think it is now the correct price for this watch.

Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67 Serial 26550089
Extract of the Archives shows delivered 18 October 1968 to USA
Service document from STS dated 25 February 2016

Provenance
Bought by me in 2015 from an Estate sale, then sent for service by me at STS. Pushers were replaced but crown was kept, so they would not test for waterproof. While the pushers are Omega Service, they are visually the same as the originals. (Which is why I have no issues with service pushers on this reference).

Why am I selling?
I need to raise funds as not only did I promise my wife the house, but I went mad the other day and bought a big watch. Need to balance the books a bit. I am not a dealer just a rather overweight collector.

Dial has a very slight brown tint. It is perfect colour to me. The plots are original and there is some places.

Hands look completely original, and we can see those special concentric rings that all Speedys should have - they just can be a little indistinct.

Bezel is original, but chipped - no signs of repair - but it is the correct DO90!

Case is very good. STS cleaned it and did not remove metal - they did re apply the side brushing.

Some very small chips - these could have been removed by polishing but I chose not to. This is highlighted by sideways lighting so you can see it.

Opening it up, we see the original dust cover and the inner case back:

The movement, serviced by STS:

Note the slight corrosion around the lip. This is not uncommon and does not worry me.

Close up of column wheel

Sale includes:
Watch head
Extract of the archives from Omega
Service invoice from Swiss Time Services

Price is £6250

SALES TERMS

I only sell to refocus my collection, but my current motivation is my wife is making me build her a house.

I am not motivated by profit alone and so I have no reason to embellish or over describe. I have been on ebay since 2002 with 100% feedback. I have bought and sold a few watches on www.OmegaForums.net and you can find my feedback by searching my username. I am the author of www.Speedmaster101.com and so you can understand protecting my reputation is first.

Price includes insured delivery in the UK, talk to me about other countries.

Returns are welcome if you don’t cost me anything to get it back to me and the watch is in the same condition as it arrived with you.

I am a private collector who rarely sells.

I believe in full disclosure.

In the past several people have been upset because although they are the first to reply, they ask if I can do a better price - meanwhile someone has agreed my price.

I am not in the slightest bit offended by offers, but remember that they will only make sense if the watch remains unsold after a few days.

Delivery can usually be facilitated almost anywhere

Payment
Payment by Bank Transfer is preferred for these larger amounts to my HSBC bank in Hong Kong in Pounds or US dollars or Hong Kong Dollars. (Not Euros sorry). I propose we both exchange ID copies and speak by phone to feel comfortable. Face to face is always welcome in UK. I also welcome Crypto Currency.

Thank you! Last time I sold some watches I was accused of being a dealer. Trust me, I would starve...

But I have reached that point where when money goes out for watches, some money has to come back in....

Watch this space, more will be revealed. Well not this space, I' ll start a thread.

I cannot buy any more watches this year (yeah and we all know how that ends up!), but looking forward to seeing what else you offer up.

Attractive looking Speedmaster here and a great option for someone looking for an honest, straightforward purchase from a trustworthy member. GLWS.

I knew I saw you on one of those Hoarder shows.
I think its time to re-evaluate your signature line.

Hello all

This watch is re offered as the buyer last November pulled out, and my life was too hectic to cope with re listing.

I just had the opportunity to have it re checked with Simon Freese as I now like to have any watch I sell double checked.

Watch is currently in USA but can be arranged elsewhere. If you are quick in can go to UK on Saturday...(that is 3 February).

Hello
This watch is now available in UK and with a reduced price that I think is cheap. I suppose it is held back by the bezel.
But with a better bezel I think the value would be much more.
For ease of shipping I would love a UK deal, as I am not moving too much over the next month, but we can usually do almost anything!
