Came across this today in my travels. I wonder if that has been redialed? It looks too fresh? Any comments or observations are welcome. Sorry for the blurry pictures, as I snapped them quick and was not intending on posting them. However, I'm generally intrigued by this watch.
I like these - big watches and accurate. Omega's first Automatic Chronometer, and first Limited edition beating the Soyuz by just two years. The OP watch is interesting, as it is in a "usable" condition, and I would hope therefore affordable. The pulsations bezel is a bonus, I don't see many of those on a 125. Being such a big watch it is not surprising the case has suffered a little in use. While rare, with only 2000 pieces made, it seems it is not hard to find one if you want one. And while many chant Condition! This watch is usable, and if bought at the right price can be passed on easily after you hit the wife accidentally with it for the third time. It wears big. Here is an example in better condition for reference. I reckon the OP watch much less, (and also much easier to sell!): https://omegaforums.net/threads/speedmaster-125-4500.35646/
haha.. Not sure about purchasing, but I had not seen this one before myself and thought I would share it. I was further told that it would have been used by doctors to monitor heart rate or pulse. Not sure about that. They are asking $3,500 Can. for it, and I'll have a second look at it next weekend. Thank you all. J.
