·This is a project watch, no two ways around it, but a great opportunity for someone to build up a 105.12-66CB without breaking the bank, build a nice beater, or get some nice parts.
Midcase: CB with strong facets, thick and even lugs, evidence of light polishing or just good honest wear. Overall a very pleasing case.
Caseback: 145.012-67 HF caseback with a good hippocampus and some idiot marks.
Bezel: none
Dial: Correct 66 with wide spaced T's. Dial has been relumed as they are some slight scratch marks by the plots when viewed under a 10x loupe, and the application is not perfect. Overall it is clean and a decent looking dial.
Hands: Correct hands, do not know if they were relumed or not. 12hr counter hand is off and loose on the dial.
Movement: cal.321 with serial 25,448,297 which is the correct range for the 105.012-66. The movement is not in running condition. It doesn't wind, when you try to wind, the hands rotate. From a quick look, the hairspring is out of whack, but otherwise the movement looks fairly clean and no evidence of water damage. I honestly have no idea of what is wrong with it. A trip to Simon Freese is in order!
Crown/Pushers/Crystal: Crown is 32 tooth replacement. 1 pusher is original, other looks to be service. Crystal is signed and in good condition.
Feel free to ask any questions, and I am more than happy to supply as many pics a necessary. Asking $3,000 shipped in the CONUS. PM or email watchknut AT gmail.com
