Here is a vintage premoon 105.012 - 64 that had a tough life.
This is a project watch for some fellow collectors but still with a decent number of good things
Let's start with the bad ones:
The case suffered corrosion and polish. the caseback met the worst watchmaker who left the biggest scratch I had to see on a speedmaster caseback (we might launch a topic about this though 😀 )
The dial is the stepped one with AML and close Ts. The previous lume seems to have been disintegrate on the dial which is not in great condition. So I had it relumed by James Hyman who did a really good job.
Hands have also been relumed with the dial by James but are original vintage.
The crown is the A2 24 teeth only produced in 69/70 that has probably been placed during a serviced

Now the good ones
The DON is in very good shape
Pushers are vintage correct Wide & Short
The 321 movement has been serviced and comes with its extract (29 december 1965) delivered to Italy

I am asking 5,500€ for this watch which makes it a little bit more than a Poor condition in the Speedmaster101 chart
Shipping in the EU included (DHL with regular delivery and fully insured) - shipping outside of the EU is possible at your cost.
Thanks to OF for the space and the joy & help you bring us every day 😀

Obscured reality through OF and IG I assume..Even if you don't like the dial, get a better dial for 2k+++ , you have the headroom for that at 5k for a 321 WITH extract. And a bezel or a case or both if you don't like a 50+ years watch to look like 50+ years. Or pay three times for a presumably perfect one, prepared one if that makes you feel better. But don't talk about vintage love then anymore. Reminder: only 24.000 105.012 where produced, half a century ago.

Great vintage watch - GLWS.

But jeez, you’re right about that gouge 😲
