·Hi All,
Continuing the sales to raise money for my workshop. Here is a very nice 65 Speedy 105.012 which has been fully serviced. The 321 inside is in beautiful condition and keeps great time. All functions work properly and it has a proper sharp reset of the chronograph including the 12 hour counter.
The case was refinished properly by me and is now in near mint condition. It has new correct style press in pushers and the original old crown. I did not touch the seamonster on the case back. It is protected with a sticker. The full word "Speedmaster' is visible in person but does not show up well in the photos.
Bezel is a beautiful faded DON, dial looks great although the lume looks a little smooth and even to be true. It does not glow but did set the geieger counter off however. Maybe I'm just used to working on watches whose dials aren't as nice.... Hands are good and glow a bit, maybe later service replacement?
The crystal is actually the ORIGINAL 1960's one, very rare. It has no crazing or cracking.
I recently obtained an extract of the archives for the watch and everything is as it should be. The extract will of course be included in the sale.
This 65 is on a 1039 bracelet with 516 end links, all the stretch links work properly. Dated 2/69 in the clasp so probably not original to the watch.
Timegrapher pics available for those that need them.
Price is $8500 USD. Paypal preferred but plus 4% for fee's. So NET to me. Speedmaster pricing seems all over the place just now but I think this is fair given the amount of servicing that has gone into this, its originality and the way it presents. I'm not unreasonable though and wish to sell.
Pics!! Please excuse the fingerprints, these were taken in full sun on a warm day.
