Hello folks, with some coincidences and help from a very good and generous friend I got my hands on a 105.003 Speedy. Unfortunately it doesn't have a bracelet but an original Omega strap and buckle. Usually when a watch of this age still comes with box, papers, strap and buckle, one can imagine that the previous owner took good care of it. So the overall condition seems to be very nice. From what I know about Speedmasters and to be honest, that's not very much, everything on the watch is genuine and authentic. I just want to share some quick pictures, in case some of you might be interested and of course all comments and opinions I highly appreciated. Kind regrads, Manuel
Very Nice ! Even more if it is really a double reference ( or even a single 145003) as stated on the paper!
Hello, yes it seems to be a double reference. I newer heard of that before but as you pointed it out, I checked out this article: http://themasterofspeed.tumblr.com/post/58497079248/omega-speedmaster-double-ref-105-003-65 Both watches have the characteristics in common. Does this influence thevalue and desirability amongst collectors?
@oddboy Why are you thinking that? Have you been a previous owner or do like it to be ? @E-diddy : Thank you very much. Yes B/P is always rare to find on a 50 years old watch. I like them to be as complete as possible.
