Hi All, It's time to part with my Ed White Speedmaster. I'm located in Perth, Western Australia. Please, no trade offers. This watch has had a full movement service and is now running very well with all chronograph functions working correctly. Only synthetic lubricants were used. Timekeeping is well within specification. The service and all other work was performed by me. Included is an extract of the archives showing the Speedy was actually manufactured on American Independence day in 1967 and originally delivered to Venezuela. I purchased it earlier this year in need of servicing and repairs. The only non original parts are the crystal and crown. However the crown appears to be from an early Seamaster diver and has the correct shaped logo. It is a bit thinner than the Speedmaster version though. The crystal is Omega but a later service part. Everything else is original and correct. Of particular note is that the dial and hands were re-lumed. I did write this process up in a post but not sure if its ok to link to it here. The dial and hands glow like a 60's Speedmaster should, briefly and dim. The case has had only very minor refinishing to the sides to re-grain them. Of course the all important DON is present and yes it is quite chipped. In my opinion though it's quite attractive and unique. I'm including a 1035 bracelet in very good condition with the stretch links in operational condition. End links are modified 633 items. The price is $13250 USD including express international delivery. - IMPORTANT - if you are located in Australia this price is ex GST, you will need to add 10% to the price. A proper invoice and receipt will be provided. Paypal is fine plus fee's or Wire transfer. I took the photos today...
