I have priced the watch between "good" and "collector" using that reference. US$ 21,250 OBRO including priority shipping within the USA, outside TBD. Payment by bank wire only, no exceptions. The watch and all parts and accessories are as they came to me. The watch was purchased by me on eBay in 2014 and serviced shortly thereafter. No parts were replaced during that service, the case and visible parts were not touched, and the display case back was installed. Everything is just as it was when I purchased it. Happy to answer questions however... I will not answer questions about "originality" of parts, as no one can say with certainty how a watch left the factory 50+ years ago. I will not opine on whether or not parts are correct or retouched or if the case has been polished - I have clearly stated above what I know . The watch is exactly as shown, with plenty of untouched photos here and linked, and I will take more on request. Plenty of members will be happy to comment (not here please). Some will be experts, others most assuredly will not, but will jump in nonetheless. Do the work to educate yourself and be an informed buyer - no returns Divesting all but a handful of my watches in coming months, if you had a dibs, now's the time to drop me a note. There is no list, but all can be seen in the general and military WRUW threads. Watches are in top condition. This isn’t a fire sale or a forced liquidation, and I am not "funding a grail" - so don’t expect a bargain. That said, I am inclined towards frictionless private transactions with well-informed and like-minded OF members and watch enthusiasts. Thanks to those who have already completed sales with me during this process. Cheers!
Holy smokes, Paul! That’s a nice watch! I’m digging [and have been digging] your Ed White...I just took my key date U.S. coin collection in to be appraised to fund this [hopeful] Ed White purchase...the coin dealer is supposed to get back to me on Monday 13MAY19.
Is this the one you made a thread about several years ago after an auction and we were all fawning over the ridiculously sharp lugs? Regardless, that is a stunning Ed White and should be snapped up in no time.
Congrats! That's awesome and I don't care if it ruffles feathers for this thread to be bumped a few more times...
