Omega SMP 75TH / New strap Aaron Bespoke/ Combat Straps

Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I was lucky enough to able to pick up this SMP 75th anniversary summer blue collection while in my recent trip to Rome, Italy. I happened to walk-in the Omega boutique. I was instantly drawn to this beautiful dial. I've only seen this collection online and pictures on the Omega website does not to do it justice. I had to immediately order a custom strap to this beautiful timepiece. I ordered a genuine navy shark skin from Aaron Bespoke/ Combat Straps. I've ordered from Arron before for my other watches but never a shark skin. I must say the shark skin hits differently.

Indeed. I have several of his straps. He’s very very good at what he does. In each case I sent him a pic of the watch and he suggested perfect designs.

I definitely have my complaints about it as well, has all of the disadvantages of a social media platform but attempts to be a forum, and it really can be an irritating place for those reasons

I’m just curious, what has your experience been in terms of materials? Is there one you have come to favor or one maybe not so much? There’s so many options, I’m kind of spinning in terms of where to start.
