Here’s a video overview of Uncle Seiko’s 1171 Speedmaster bracelet modified to fit into my Omega Seamaster 42mm.

I’ve never been a fan of the stock Seamaster bracelet snd have sold two of them before due to the bracelets and how they wore. Now there’s another option and I love it! Wears very comfortably and feels like a ”jubilee” in terms of comfort. The watch weighs in at 129g when sized for my wrist.

Enjoy the video - like it and subscribe as well Feel free to leave any comments as I'm always looking to improve.

That actually looks amazing and the Uncle Seiko 1171 is by far the most comfortable bracelet I’ve ever had. You could probably polish out those scratches pretty easily and you’ll end up with a slightly polished look which can then be remedied by something like a Burgeon fibreglass pen to add the brushed look back or in a pinch try a green scotchbrite pad.

If you want to complete the look cheaply, replace your Uncle Seiko clasp cover with one of the so called “Canadian clasp covers”

it cost about $20US, takes about 3 minutes to install and fits the US1171 perfectly.
This is what is looks like on my US flat link

If you don’t mind spending a bit more ($75US) you can buy an entire clasp and either switch over the whole clasp, or as I did, just the cover. This clasp is identical to those used on some original Omega 1171 variants.

And here they are both together, one on the Uncle Seiko flat link and the other on the 1171
