Looking for your opinions. At a glance this looks great! But some things don't appear right? I think the date window should have a white frame around it? Seller states the following "Omega 055-ST-166-0324 for the case, SN Movement 18180303 Calibri 562, and 24 Jewels. Signed on bracelet, crown, under plexi crystal and on the back of case and the face, Omega Seamaster 300 with a T and circle on the bottom, also says automatic."
Nubbies are biggest tell of fake out there...and this one has them (unless the pix are fooling my eyes)!
Fake dial. Stubbies, no white round date window, closed 6 and 9, fonts are wrong. Fake case back. Wrong fonts and numbers. Wrong movement, should be 565 Pretty bad one.
It's on the Bay currently http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ome...e-With-Date-/301739221544?hash=item46410f2228Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
It's a genuine Watchco case back, not fake. Bct also genuine. Everything else except movement is fake, including dial, mid case, bezel, hands and crown.
Ebay Description Translator (TM) might help: "I am only putting what I know about it." = I know it has issue but will not disclose that "I know this watch is not common." = Id like to rip you off so bid frequently " If any of my description is misrepresented, this is not intentional." = good luck "This watch is being sold as is, I am not excepting any returns." = I was ripped off when I bought it because I failed to do my homework, so Im going to pass it on. "Please do not bid if you are not going to follow with paying for it." = once you realize its a pile of crap, don't ship it back
... A classic fake. And the "funny" part is that is has the military "T" on the dial, because these examlpes usually have a caseback with fake military ID engravings. Ever seen an RN300 or W10 with a date? But this seller upgraded and spend some money on the Omega replacement caseback
