A very nice SM300 165.024 with a solid 552 movement, 24m serial which dates the watch to 1967. Great case and razor sharp bevels which to me appears unpolished from new. No dent or dings, no corrosion or pitting. Great untouched tritium dial with original lume and a nice patina. Very good caseback with sharp Hippocampus. Aged hands. Watchco bezel. Strap not included. All in all a very tidy example of an SM300 which we all know are becoming harder to find. Bezel is reflected in the asking price. Only selling as I don't often wear it and it's just sitting in the safe. £3900 Bank transfer including shipping. Paypal +4%. Watch is in London...cash and face to face is welcome. Good seller references on here and a +1000 100% feedback Ebay account if required. Happy to promptly answer any questions, more pics can be supplied upon request...all the best.
Thanks @Baz9614 I've been asked for dial/case pics overnight so i'll post some better ones here too. Thanks.
Several people asking about the history of the watch so i will add some information. I bought the watch from a Dutch collector, also a forum member. He told me he bought the watch from the original 1st owner who was a Dutch diver. The owner changed the bezel and hands to luminova when he got a bit older so to increase visibility when underwater. Original hands and bezel were not kept (dont worry i did ask). I own a few of these so had a set of original aged sword hands that were fitted to replace the lumi hands it had. Unfortunately i don't have a spare tritium bezel! The watch runs strong but I have not had it serviced since i bought it earlier this year. It has watchmakers marks inside the caseback so servicing has been done at some point, but not by myself. Hope this helps.
