    Hi,

Dear, Could You tell me what is not ok with this Dial.
The Seller said that it is REFRESHED original Dial.
I notice that this Dial has Stubbies until house.

Is something more not ok with this Dial ?

Movement is cal 552 so it is ok.

Is it - fake watch or franken watch build on original parts of Omega ( that said the Seller )

I paid for it 1800 Euro. It was on Antique Fair in my city on emotion.

Is this watch has some value ?
Is this watch could be like 166.0324 ?

Thanks for Help because I don't know what to do. Do give it back ?

Sorry to say, but the dial is fake. Font is wrong, case is not CF/HF so that's wrong. Crown is wrong...

    Bezel is wrong....

Everything is almost wrong. Sorry about this. If you can return it you should.

I’m following the thread for personal knowledge. So why a fake?
I was looking at the script, it seemed a bit off and everything on the watch seems pristine for a model of that age.

The whole thing is fake and quite worthless. You should try to return asap.

Just the movement and probably caseback are original. The rest of the watch looks wrong, you should try to return it as soon as possible. Good luck

The price in itself should have told you something was wrong unless you were in front of a bargain and you were sure you were getting one.

This is one of the key factors in buying vintage, do your homework before you set out to buy something.

As stated apart from probably the movement, the rest of the watch is fake.

Get your money back if you can.

An original Omega movement perhaps, but original to a Seamaster 300? That's another question.....

Out of curiosity did the seller try to market it as a military watch?

No pictures but normally these fakes do come with original calibers. But you could be right, without a photo impossible to tell.

    Thanks for your opinion.

I see everythink what You said , Now I will be a specialist for SM 300 but unfortunately too late..

The Seller has a problem to give a watch back . He said that transaction done and He doesn't must give money back.

I bought it in my country on antique market. He didn't give me bill. The seller is from another country . He supposedly is on this market every month,

You know as have I some rights ?

When I bought this watch from Him He said that Dial and bezel was done . Unfortunately it was near to the end of market it was a lot of emotion - everybody said that this Seller is good And I understood that the parts of watch are original but it was in not good condition so it was profesional corrected. I look on dial and check digits are open and I forgot to check stubbies. About the Stubbies i remembered untill house.

I know about prices of original SM 300 but I thought that big price for it are when the Dial was in original condition. This dial was corrected so I thought that price is smaller.

If I will can not give this watch back you think it was be a some solution to buy original dial and original bezel and then this watch could be like 166.0324 ? Is it possible ?

Do you know where I could buy original Dial or bezel ? And how much cos it ?

    Thanks for help

    Best Regards

    Case - Wrong
    Dial - Wrong
    Bezel - Wrong

I have been looking for the past 4-5 months for an original tritium bezel for my own 165.024 but to no avail. Found 2 luminova ones though.

Even if you do source a real bezel and dial, you need a HF/CF case to put it in.. in which yours isn't.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Consider it a lesson, at least it didn't cost you 10k USD.

Try and return the watch as it is not genuine. I don't know what country you are in but in the U.K. trading standards would insist the seller gives you a refund.

Most importantly do not sink any more money into this watch. It is fake and you will be throwing good money after bad.
