Has anyone had an experience where their timepiece was serviced by Omega under a warranty, but the warranty doesn't get reset to the standard 24 months following a complete maintenance?

If the service was done under the original sales warranty, then that warranty is not typically extended, so if you get it serviced in year 4 of a 5 year warranty, then you have 1 year of warranty left.

Thank you. This was not the original sales warranty, but rather the 2-year warranty after it had been serviced 2 years ago. It was technically 2-3 days outside of that servicing's warranty period, but they honored it as if it was still under warranty. So I'm not sure whether I have zero warranty left or a fresh two years...

Normally a service or intervention done within the two year service warranty period, will mean that a new 2 year warranty is in effect. Since yours happened outside that 2 year period, it may not have one. The best way to know is to ask Omega directly, or whoever it was that took the watch from you to get the service done.
