    Dear Omega hive mind.

I was wondering if one could ascertain that Omega made batches of movements for a certain model?

For instance, caliber 321, serial no. 23.xxx.001 - 23.xxx.999 would for sure belong to a 105.003? And so on.

I have a caliber movement with the serial 18.419.xxx and a friend has a speedy 2998-05 with the same movement, just 20 digits in the serial number away from mine. Would be great to know if my movement belonged to a speedy :)

No way to tell for certain without extracts of the archives.

Either way... the movements worth quite a lot esp if it’s a Speedy movement as verified by extract. Someone’s sitting on a 2998 that needs a movement assuming it’s still correct and not modified.

I think these had some differences from later 321’s.
