    Hi all
    Never seen something similar.
Someone asked me about it. I didn't know what to say.
    What you think about it?
All is gold. Aprox. 150g 18k:confused:

I've said unique only because i've never seen this model looking like this. Not for the movement or something alse. I have some dubts about the authencity of this watch. For me is between a good one and a franken one.

I've asked for more accurate details. The case, whitout cristal and movement, has 154g.
Really, what you think about it?

What I really think is that you have quite a chunk of gold, about $4,700.US +/- chunk of gold :)

I suppose it could be legit, there are solid gold versions of the various SMP designs out there but fake or real, it isn't very nice is it?

Completely false - there are several models in solid 18k gold that came with the blue insert in the bezel (some were gold, and some even gemstones), and there were models that came on straps.

For example Ref. 21988000 is 18k gold with blue bezel insert and gold bracelet, and Ref. 26988003 is the same watch on a blue croc strap.

I haven't been able to find one with gold sub-dials, but Omega made so many variations of these models it would not surprise me at all that one existed. Right now I would lean towards the watch being legit.

    Cheers, Al

You are totally right. The watch is authentic. I've seen it now. The bezel is from gold and the blue is inserted.
In hand feels very very have.
The dial is also gold. I think the watch was made for a special order.

If you have the serial number, send it to me in a PM and I can tell you the specific model, and check to make sure it's all good.

    Cheers, Al
