Saw this on another forum and it caught my interest. But then the ad said it was from menta so my inexperience makes me worry. Does this look correct? value?

What does your gut tell you when you look at the 12..............and then at the 6.

OK my gut tells me that the numbers should be smaller and stay inside the lines and not spillover. The more I look at it the more that looks wrong. 12 does not look centered correctly.

IMO the dial is original - looks good to me and this is not a gut feeling, it is confidence :)

My eyes don't like the 6 alignment. Could it be the angle/crystal refraction?

I have no other doubts about the track/hands/Ω etc. and a tick in the box from @mac_omega makes me doubt my old eyes.

This is one I would need to examine first hand if buying (wishful thinking).

OK so I totally whiffed. Maybe I'll ask for pictures from a different angle if I get serious. I might want to save for a different watch that's coming available :0

I have the same dial but with a different movement (30T2 SC).

(I wouldn’t call this a sector dial by the way, it’s a seller way to pimp it up)

OP, keep in mind that this is not going to be a large watch, likely between 30-33-mm, cal R17,8 movements were not typically housed in big cases.

Good point. I tend to overlook that fact still, anything under 35mm starts to look to small on me.
