Can people please upload their pictures of unusual 'Seamasters' - Either über clean dials/cases or honey-comb, rare combos, something a little different they haven't seen before? Or unusual patina etc..

Here's my first proper Seamaster (in fairly clean cond.)which has kicked of my obsession!

Not only yours but the super-dream of some others, too.

    Thank-you.

Yep, I bought it maybe a couple of years ago. I haven't seen a SS black waffle date at 6 come up for a sale for a while now.

You have a lovely and clean Seamaster. As long as it is factory-original, keep it and add a few more to build your collection, from one to a few. However, do be careful when buying vintage-watches, nowadays. There are many with superficial beauty and in actual fact, they are not authentic.

It is best consult this forum, before parting even $1.00.

    Thank-you.

Yes, a couple of years before, it was not difficult to get the genuine and attractive ones. A couple of years after, it is a pain in the neck, trying to acquire something that is authentic.

    Thank-you.

In general, nice original vintage omegas are getting harder to find - especially at a good price. However, every year especially this year, I always see nice pieces that I have never seen for sale before.

This has definitely been a very good year for Seamasters, three pie-pans and a loose dial, that hooded model, Steve's minter gold cap, and many more. They're definitely out there. Or more specifically, on here, as I think of the great Seamasters to pop up this year, a LOT of them, perhaps even most have ended up with members here.

There are also more new collectors going after the same pieces as well.
