I just stumbled across this watch as I was looking at vintage Omega’s that were a bit larger than 36mm. It looks amazing and can be had for a really nice price. Unfortunately I didn’t see any in the for sale section and I am too new to post a WTB. Does anyone have advice for where I could go from here?

Be patient , they do come up relatively often.

You are right. Patience is key. It stings a little to see one was sold on here by a person in the same town as me just a year ago.

Here's some standard Sparkle nomenclature:

- 166.032 houses the non-chronometer day/date caliber 75x
- not sure what the non-chronometer date caliber 56x reference is (it would be 166.0xx)
- 168.023 houses the chronometer day/date caliber 751
- 168.022 houses the chronometer date caliber 564

The larger Seamaster Sparkles in the 40mm-ish cushion C-case 166.064 houses the non-chronometer day/date cal 752. There are chronometer versions of this too, but I forget the references. I'm at work so maybe I'll edit this post later.
