Hi all. I've been watching Omega for a while. And I found two. I need your help to decide because I do not know which one I should go with (I'm desperately want one)

Omega Seamaster De Ville - CAD 1,200
- 1967
- solid 14k gold case that is has not been polished
- Inside is a cal. 550 automatic movement featuring 17 jewels.
- Omega signed crown.

Omega Seamaster - CAD 675 (from local Charity Thrift Store)
- 1960 approx.
- working condition

Could you guys kindly advise on which one I should go for or I should stay away from the both of them
Thank you

Looks like the thrift shop watch may have gold hands and markers? That would be a bit off putting.

I do love that hanger S though. And can鈥檛 beat a subdial second hand IMO. All that said, there have been plenty sold on the forum between those prices I like much better.

Hi timseyeon,

I was actually out at that Thrift store yesterday to take a look at that one. It's Okay, but not wow. The markers appear to be rose gold. The dial is clean, case is decent, but will need a cleaning as there is a lot of build-up. They are pretty firm on the price, it was evaluated by a jeweler who prices "higher end items" for them.

Be patient, I have seen nicer ones out there locally.

Cheers!
