Hello, I've just signed up to the forum, I have an Omega Seamaster in Titanium and the screw down crown is no longer locking in. I have seen a repairer who says it could just need a clean or the parts will need replacing, one option would be to go to a 'push in' crown. The guy I saw appears to be a middle man, does any one know of Terry Casey from Leicester? Also, could anybody recommend a good repairer. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
You need to go to someone that has an Omega parts account to get it replaced. A non titanium push in crown would ruin your expensive dive watch. I may be wrong but if you went that way you might not be able to correct it later and destroy the future value of the watch. How old is it and have you ever had it serviced?
