    First, the dial has been refinished. Second, what's up with the engraved text on that movement, particularly the wheel train bridge's TWENTY FOUR 24 JEWELS? I'd wait for more opinions but my spider sense is tingling over that.

    Ok, thanks ulackfocus. I'll wait for more opinions to weigh in. The movement does have a marking "552". Refinished dial was my suspicion too.

    Don't do that, Threads should not be deleted without good cause, others can use it as an educational tool.
