Hi, New to this site - and to Omega. When the back was removed recently, to replace the battery, the following digits were noted: 196.0126; 1345; 40; 368170 Can anyone help explaining to what they refer?
The first set of numbers is the reference number, this indicates the model of the watch. The 1345 is probably the movement number. Not sure about the last two sets of numbers.
From Dr. Roland Ranfft's movement archive, this should be what the Omega 1345 movement looks like. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&Omega_1345 I'm wearing a circa 1978 Omega with that movement in it.
