    A7751028-4050-4118-978B-BC3549932AF4.jpeg Hi

I’ve seen this 1980s ( I believe) Seamaster Quartz for sale

I’m not overly keen on a full gold bracelet but I know some of the models have integrated bracelets and are hard to swap

SO a very novice question can this bracelet be swapped for a leather strap I’m guessing it would be an 18mm

    Many thanks

Unless you can get the watch for a very affordable price, it's really not worth buying. Vintage quartz Seamasters are about the least collectible of vintage Omegas.

On to the question of a strap, that is clearly an integrated bracelet and cannot fit a standard leather strap without some modification to the strap. Perhaps a custom strap maker could do something, but that's likely to cost as much as the watch itself.

    Hi

Thank you for confirming about the bracelet

I’ve got a 1977 De ville and 1998 speedmaster already but wanted a vintage seamaster to add to my collection

This one was being sold relatively cheap but I wasn’t over keen on it so the hunt continues

Mine says Hi. File photo of mine is not great, but it appears to be the same watch. Modifying a strap would not be feasible IMO. And any modification to the case would be out of the question. Collectibility? I enjoy mine, a lot.

Thank you that looks good on the wrist

Just not sure if I would get much wear out of an all gold watch which is why I would ideally like to swap the bracelet out

Just a shame it seems hard to make any modifications to the watch
