Just recently purchased the black seamaster professional (210.30.42.20.01.001). To those who own this watch my question is does your crown line up perfectly center with the 3 o'clock on the bezel or hour marker?

Based on my experience with my AT & SMP, none of the Omega logos on my crowns line up perfectly center like you see in the commercials. It's really the luck of the draw and so not everyone's crown will line up. Both of my crowns on my AT & SMP are upside down and angled slightly to the left. I also spoke with my boutique and they said it's not the case that they will always line up perfectly.

Sounds like you got a bad crown.

I'm not talking about the Omega logo on the crown, i'm talking about the actual crown and lug protectors...

I think maybe we're both misunderstanding the OP? If your crown doesn't line up as shown below I don't believe that means you have a bad crown? Or maybe I'm missing something. Hoping the OP can clarify or better yet post pictures. :)

As you can see the crown doesn't align with the bezel or hour marker

Tough to tell from those photos. If you run a straightedge through the 9 and 3 o'clock indices does it bisect the crown or is it off?

If you run a straight line through the 9,3, and crown it's slightly off

I have the blue version, lines up perfectly. If you are not happy take it back to seller?

I went to an Omega AD this past weekend and looked at a few SMPs and all of them had the same issue.

My Aquaracer has the same slight misalignment. 557E560E-8CE5-4B7F-A4E4-80F216CD3A63.jpeg

My SMP. It’s hardly noticeable, but the slight misalignment is there.

If it makes you feel any better, I took my tantalum SMP back to have the crown realigned. It looks much better now...
