Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone can answer this for me.

My watch is automatic and I was wondering if it is recommended to wind it manually. It’s running about a second slow daily. Would this help it run more accurate?

A second is within COSC standards. You can try laying it in different positions on your night stand while you're asleep. But 1 second, I wouldn't give it any worry at all. That's just me and YMMV 👎

First, there is nothing wrong with winding the watch every so often, so feel free to do that whenever you like. Second, as others have said, loosing a second a day is not bad at all. I know the new METAS standards put the rate at 0-6 sec/day, but that is an average over many positions. Let it rest in different positions and you might get a change to a gain. Or you might not. Either way, I wouldn’t worry. Just enjoy the watch!
