Up for grabs is my Seamaster Professional 2055.80.00, aka 2255.80.00 with the speedy bracelet, these rarely come up for sale. This watch was my gateway drug to nice watches. I have since accumulated two other Omegas and am now making room for a 14060M Sub, this watch was not getting much wrist time at all after the service because right when I got it back, my 2503.33.00 came in. This SMP was FULLY serviced in August 2014 by none other than the legendary Archer, (Al) of Omega Forums. It's keeping phenomenal time of course. The watch does not come with box or papers but it does come with four full links and two half links. I am also going to include digital pictures of the service, and the parts that Al took out of this watch during service. Al please let me know if you would like me to remove these images. This watch is in excellent condition. There are small scratches throughout, and two things to note: There is a small nick in the sapphire crystal at 20 below the '2', a tiny tiny tiny little bit of rawness at 55 and 35, I just noticed this by looking very closely, after years of wearing the watch I never even noticed. The diver's extension is a bit loose - it is NO problem when the watch is on but it can come unfastened when you put the watch on. It was never an issue for me but if it is for you, a little loc tite will solve this. Al did a fantastic job on this watch and everything is operationally perfect. Not only is it professionally (LIGHTLY) polished, but the crown feels GREAT to operate and the watch winds confidently, time changes are sharp as is the date change. This watch is going to be good for YEARS. Al replaced the bezel click spring and the bezel turns with a satisfying and solid 'click.' I am asking $1,749 shipped. PayPal only, unless you want to do a face to face in Knoxville which I am happy to do, in which case knock off $100. This includes PayPal fees, shipping and insurance. I am very familiar with shipping and have excellent eBay feedback: http://www.ebay.com/usr/the_wangmeister I have changed my picture to the Omega logo for this transaction, feel free to message me on there as well for verification. References available. Please contact me through Omega Forums if you have an account. If not please email me at [email protected], if you would like my phone number I am happy to provide that as well and we can discuss the watch. Do not hesitate to ask any questions, and I am more than happy to take specific detailed pictures if you would like. Thank you for looking. Hans
Someone got a beautiful watch at an awesome price, Congrats to the both of you! I have one of these, too, similar story... hardly ever wear it, which is a shame, but I've become a vintage junkie now...
