Firstly can I thank who ever set this up and all the fantastic information on it. I’ve learnt so much from it.
I am trying to get my watch working again after my kids started using it.
Can I please ask if anyone know where I could get a steel tube for a seamaster prebond 396.1052. The crown won’t lock into the one that’s on. Are they easy to change? Do they press out or screw out? I’m also looking for the seals. I know it’s not worth a lot but it’s so comfortable and I’ve had it from new for 30 years. Thank you.

I think you will get more help if you will post your question in other part of the forum..: vintage omega watches help discussion and advice.

You need to take this to a watchmaker. You will need a new case tube and crown.

Thanks everyone. You’re right archer. I can get a watchmaker but I can’t find the parts. I wondered if you know where I could find them.

Your best bet might be finding a watchmaker with an omega parts account. There are a few on these forums but they tend to be pretty well booked out.
