Thinking of purchasing this one.... Any red flags?
Buyer seems honest and all but just double checking.

The "S" on the Seamaster doesnt look right to me. It seems faded.

Also, I have no idea how people manage to take bad out of focus shots in this day and age with all the laser guided cameras Apple has been selling us.

Then again, lot of people can't stand straight if their life depended on it.

I'm also looking at the this 2500D.
Serial 8529xxxx. Leaning towards the 2500. It's a classic in my eyes.

8500 looks legit to me.

I've owned both the 2500 and 8500, still have the 2500 now. My preference is the 2500. Get the 42mm, the 45.5mm in both models wears very big and heavy IMHO.

How about the 2500? Any red flags?
Can you go by serial number to determine if its a 2500D?

I don't see anything wrong with the "S" or the pictures.

On the wrist I’d take the 2500. It’s thinner.

@1st speedy a “d” will have the globe laser etch.

The 2500 (first gen) and 3500 (2nd gen) have some interesting differences. I feel that while one first glance they seem the same the subtle details make them vastly different. The bezel looks better on the 2500 and while the 2nd Gen has the better numbers I think the whole thing comes together nicer on the first gens.

Thank you for the tips.
Does the 2500d come with blue AR coating or the newer clear AR?

And would à 2500D have the globe etching on the caseback?

My C has the globe etching, but the one in your pic is a D

I always like to listen to the movement ticking.
This one for some reason sound a bit different from my previous 2500 c movement. Or is it because I'm used to hearing the vintage speedy tick?
