Hi, I'm new to the "watch world" but loving it. I have a question about the Planet Ocean AC strap. It comes with a rubber strap that I dont like at all. I want to swap it out for a steel bracelet. I asked my local dealer and they told me this isn't possible but I've seen other planet oceans with steel bracelets...

Anyway I have ordered a nato strap to begin with but was hoping anyone here would know if I could put a steel bracelet on it or not. Thanks

You can definitely put a bracelet from a standard model on this. Case is the same.

Thanks for that confirmation, I thought they were wrong.

Is this the correct product code?

Cheers

@Archer might be able to confirm.

I can confirm that the number stated is a bracelet for a PO - will it fit the watch shown above? No idea...

I would like to know for sure before I place an order against the advice of the dealer. Just looks like it's the same case, lug to lug distance is also 21mm.

Thanks @AntonisCy and @Archer I really appreciate the help. I want to wear this watch but it's difficult when I just don't like the rubber strap. I find it pretty ugly and uncomfortable. I'll try and get more information and maybe ask a different dealer.

It may or it may not - I cannot confirm either way.

Have you tried Google (pictures) it? Both watch and bracelet number?
Google has helped me out many times @Pepernoot . See you on the 5th of December.

I tried to find a picture of a PO on a metal bracelet that normally comes with a rubber strap. I have only found one. I have asked a different dealer if they can do it with the serial number supplied from Antonis. I might try a blue nato strap if it's really impossible.

It is a very standard 43,5mm PO case and MUST work with standard PO bracelet.

Update: Found another dealer and they can help me. They ordered a bracelet for me that they believe should fit. Serial number: 020STZ004970

Will confirm with a picture once they get it.

Thanks all!
Looks good @Pepernoot . I assume that youre Dutch? Im looking for the titanium bracelet for the latest grey/orange 43.5mm titanium PO. Which AD delivered it to you?

I will speak for myself after having purchased a few OEM bracelets & straps - I usually get them at Omega Boutique. Yes - pricy, but 9 of 10 times they have what I need on stock, size it and put on my watches at the time of purchase - great service.

@Pablo1971 I got the bracelet from Van Willigen in Rotterdam. I went to Schaap Citroen first and they were pretty bad and said they couldn't (it was impossible)get a metal bracelet for this watch.

Great sevice from van Willigen, they had to order it but was ready in store in about a week. Costs 750 euro but it has completely changed the watch. I have a Rolex Submariner which was my favorite but now this is.
