·Hello fellow OF members,
The last casualty in my effort to consolidate my collection into one very nice (and unfortunately very expensive) watch is my Planet Ocean 2500. The original owner purchased this watch as NOS from Govberg Jewelers on 2/2/19 and the warranty card is dated to reflect this. At that time, Govberg swapped out the leather strap that this watch originally came on and installed the appropriate bracelet (effectively making this 2901.50.47 into a 2201.50).
This Planet Ocean functions well and is without any issues. When I received the watch last summer, I had it inspected and pressure tested by an Omega factory-trained watchmaker (who also took the movement shot below). He did not feel the watch would need to be serviced for several years at least. On my wrist, it is currently averaging around +4 seconds per day. It also passed a dry pressure test to 3 ATM (30 m) on 5/28/20. Cosmetically, it is in fantastic shape with only a few minor superficial marks on the bracelet and small ding near the crown (marked in red in one of the pictures below––but please note the lighting makes it look far worse than it actually is). The dial, bezel insert, crystal, and AR coating are without any defects.
Included is the outer white cardboard box, red inner box (which has definitely seen better days), warranty card, chronometer certification, pictogram card, hang tags, manual, and extra bracelet links. The bracelet is currently sized for a 6.75" wrist.
I am asking for $2800 with shipping included via USPS Priority Express within the continental US. No trades, please.
