Hello, I just bought this original watch at a decent price but the crown doesn’t seem original and the crystal is cracked a little. How much does an original crown costs? Should I replace the crystal? Any advice? Should I get it re plated? thank you
Depends where you live. Original omega plexi is app EUR 80 and crown app EUR 40 (or was it EUR 50). I would replace it with a generic plexi and crown. That's together around EUR 40. New plating. Not sure if that's possible in a acceptable way. Not sure abouth the costs either. Remember this is not the most valuable omega so keep the costs of repair in perspective.
In perfect original condition EUR 850. Your condition between EUR 175 and EUR 350. But after cleaning up it could be a bit more. The dial seems great while the case is very degraded. But most people look at dial condition. After a new plexi the dial will shine again and you will see a different watch.
