Omega Seamaster JD 165.002

I wonder if anyone knows what the JD in the reference means on this Seamaster. I received the archives and it is a 1965 Seamaster, 14K yellow gold-plated with stainless steel case back, Delivered to the Union of South Africa. Thanks

Hello, nice, tuis is the first time I see a golden plated seamaster with this dial.
Does the extract of archive specify anything about the dial?

Hi, Thanks......Nothing specifically.......just the JD in front of the REF.....

Cannot tell what JD exactly means, but I assume it is related to case plating.
