    Hi and welcome. If you google omega vintage database, you will find a great database. Put in the model number, which is from the inside caseback, 196.0278, and you should get the info you are after. As a quartz, it isnt very collectable. Id say $100 or so

    Hi , in database of Omega I have not found this reference number . Database of Omega is very large and useful but unfortunately incomplete.

    Interesting. And the 1530 calibre isnt there either.

    The same reference watch can be found in AJTT on page 301. It is the all stainless version and is called the "Plymouth". According to AJTT this ref is from 1982 has a calibre 1430 movement. I am not sure why your example has a 1530C, since this movement was only introduced in 2005. Since the 1530 is based on the 1430 and has similar dimensions, my guess is that during a repair the 1530c was used to replace the 1430. The RoHS stand to designate a "green" product that conforms to an EU directive restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

    I don't know what it retailed for originally, but the fact that it has a swapped movement and it being a Quartz would lead to a current low estimate of collectable value.
