Omega Seamaster. How much should I pay?

I am offered this Seamaster and I like it. I have no experience with modern Seamaster like this one and would like to have your opinion about it.

Why not try chrono 24 or ebay and look what they are going for. Obviously you have to factor in if the seller is private or a business , plus possible service and decide what the right price is for you. I don t know anything about this watch so I have no idea what it would go for, or anything about the movement etc, but if you like it, buy it.

This is an aqua terra with omegas 2500 movement. Like lillatroll said check sites like eBay and chrono24, there are several that go for sale on this forum as well so look at those prices too. Probably a nice average price you will find is around 2500 give or take.

I think all stainless, $2200-$2600 is reasonable. Not sure what the two tone would add. These have the problematic 2500 movements. Try and work out if it has the A, B, C or D. I've seen rough indications based on serial number of when the changes were made.

Hey @hoipolloi - what size it is? 36, 39, or 41? From the position of the date window I'd guess 39. I sold my 36 mm blue dialed version years ago in near mint condition for $1200 I think. I'd guess the larger size and two tone would add in price, maybe to the $1600-$2200 range? I'm not up on the selling prices of these.

Hoi, at that price you're getting close to what the new AT 38.5mm version with the 8500 sells for on the pre-owned market.

I have the same watch and I love it. It runs flawlessly and keeps excellent time. I bought mine last year and paid $2850 I believe. I hope this helps.
