Hard to tel much about the condition from those photos.
The dial appears original but better photos needed to confirm

The fair market value of your watch is more relevant than how much you paid. What do you think you could get for it? Probably not much.

I am not looking to sell now, I'd like to wear it a while, but that said if I do sell in a year or so I don't want to loose money.

I am meeting up with the guy on Saturday. Dial dies look original and not concerned about condition as I can refurb the watch myself. Apparently these came in 2 versions a 34mm and a 36mm

There’s no 36mm version. It’s 34mm and depending on what reference it is, there may be a 32mm version.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. If you are asking whether it's a fair trade or not, we need to know the current value of your Tag Heuer, not how much you paid. If you are saying that it's the current value, then OK. It's not a crazy trade if you like the Omega.

Looks like it's missing some lume in the minute hand and the seconds hand is a too short replacement.

So you paid $500 for a pre-owned quartz watch, and now it's worth $650. Nice going, that's a 30% profit. ::facepalm1::

30% profit on a quartz TAG is a win 😆

Not worth the trade. In the Omegas current condition. Maybe $300 or so. Other opinions may differ

I think $300-$400 is a reasonable value between collectors. The OP will have to decide if he really thinks he could sell his watch for $650, after fees and shipping.

Depends on the condition of his watch, but ebay check shows the watch sells for about $500+/- on average

The Omega looks rough and average condition, so who know what else it needs. If a service is required. Not that great of a trade

Shipping is paid by the buyer
