Good afternoon. A friend of my uncle proposed this watch to me. Do you think it is genuine and original in every part? (obviously strap and buckle excluded). Thanks for your help

Can’t say if the plexi is original - other than that, it seems to be correct in every part. It also seems very, very dirty and worn in every part. Tired movement, water damage all over the dial, lume is gone, case has seen a polish or two…

Don’t know what “proposed to you” means - if you like it and it’s free, why not. A service is likely gonna set you back about what the watch is worth, though, possibly more.

Seems legit, but in poor condition. The dial is not appealing to me.

legit and original, but I would guess cleaning the dial will cost a lot, I don't have any experience on having a dial cleaned and maybe slightly restored, in this case maybe some cleaning, i just don't have any idea about the cost of that, maybe someone here have done some dial restoration or have dial cleaning done to their watches.

A dial with damage like this can generally not be cleaned. Most watchmakers will not attempt it because the likelihood of further damage is very high. When a dial is in this type of condition the three options are: (1) live with it, (2) repaint it completely, (3) find a replacement dial.

Keep in mind that the movement might also require some repairs, and ask yourself whether this is a watch that you want to invest time, effort, and money into. The upside is not very high considering that you can get a similar watch in good condition for a relatively modest amount.

If you can get it for $100, then sure, just wear it and have fun with it. The parts are worth more than that. But even then, I wouldn't try to restore it.
