For sale today I have a lovely piece that I acquired recently. But due to a refocus (read: a big reduction) of my collection, I have to let go of this gem.
It's a vintage Omega ref. 166.002 in an excellent condition with a rather rare dial configuration: Seamaster and Genève text, crosshairs and uncommon indices at 6, 9 and 12. The serial number is 26340924.
Both the crown and crystal are original Omega signed.
Case: One of the reasons that I bought this watch is the amazingly good looking case. The lugs and bezel are razor sharp. Unless you find a NOS piece, it is hard to find a case better than this on a 52 years old watch. It measures around 34,5 mm without the crown.
Movement: A lovely cal. 565 in perfect condition. The service history is unknown but is keeps very good time and change date at 12.
Dial: One word: Perfect. No patina, damage or anything like it in can be found on this original, uncommon and beautiful eggshell white dial.
I am asking 910 euros / 825 pounds net to me for this piece, excluding postage and fees. The watch is located in Denmark (EU).
Payment through bankwire or a personal pick-up only.
No returns unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.
