Hi,

I took the pictures of an Omega watch that was given to me from my grandfather. I wanted to get more information on the model of the watch and if this watch is an authentic Omega or a fake. I love how it looks and it carries sentiment to me, but I was just curious about its origins. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Quite genuine.

This is a midsize model, dating to ca the mid 1960s, caliber 670/671. Exact model and movement information is inside the watch.

Unfortunately sometime in it's life the dial has been refinished, not an uncommon thing to happen during a routine service back when it was a daily wearer.

Have it serviced by a reputable independent watchmaker and enjoy.
