Right so i'm finally looking into making my first purchase for a Vintage Omega. Just wanted to get your guys thoughts of this and a possible guide price (GBP)? I've tried searching with the case number on the vintage database (166.020) but to no avail

Not an expert on pricing but the dial looks good as well as origional crown. The rotor looks to be rubbing so budget a service (should be done anyway). On the OVDB try inputting 166*0020 and you should get results.

The seller said that this had recently been serviced. Just tried your method on OVDB and found it and everything seems to add up so now just curious as to how much a reasonable price would be.

And sellers never lie.馃槈 Unless you get solid proof of service, I would take that with a grain of salt!馃槖 The rotor has been doing some serious rubbing on the movement and the case, as seen in the movement picture, and personally I'd want to see proof that this was addressed.

Just to be clear this watch is actually about 95% stainless steel, only the bezel (if its marked as such on the case) and caps on the lugs are gold.

Haha true! How much would you think that would cost to address or would that be a part of a service?

This would not be part of a service unless it was specifically requested. It will require parts to be replaced and I don't have the cost information.
