Have been looking for quite some time for a DeVille with a silver dial and Gold markers. I find it very attractive. They seem to be harder to find than DeVille's with a uniform dial. The seller's pictures are not that good and the crown is wrong, but should be easy to find a replacement. The price was OK so I took the risk. For reference a www photo from a 165.020 with Gold markers.

    Happy :)

Seems that a replacement crown for the 166.020 is not so easy to get anymore. Although Ofrei listed them in the past, he apparently is out of stock as I could not find it anymore. An Omega service would be an expensive way to get the correct crown. Does anybody know an alternative source that still has these crowns?

Thanks, but that looks like a redial to me.

I am looking for the crown only sine I have the watch already (the one in the first 3 pics.

CousinsUK still has the steel crown for your watch.

Ahoy there! I just happen to be wearing mine as I'm reading this. My first decent Omega and I still love the simplicity of it, plus it keeps time to within about 2-3 seconds a day. Not my mintest watch but it has a special place in my affections and I'd never get rid of it.

Very nice De Ville with the unusual linen dial and gold markers / hands! My first Omega was a manual Seamaster 600, but the 2nd one was also an Omega De Ville with a vertically brushed dial :)
