Hi all!
For my first sale post here, here is a very nice seamaster Deville 166.020.
I Donny know much about these so my description might be less accurate than expected, sorry for that.

Case : 34.5mm. No idea if it has ever been polished but it is -very- sharp. Edges, seamaster logo on the caseback…It looks and feel very good. Original crown in excellent condition too. Original crystal with magnifier too. Some light surface scratches showing it’s not been polished recently (if ever)

Movement : I don’t have the tools to open it and have no idea when it was last serviced but it runs very well on the timegrapher (check picture below).

Dial : the gem here! Silver sunburst dial with Applied logos, no lume. I could not find any flaw with the loupe! Black-filled original hands

if you want any part of the watch on picture, just ask 😀
The Watch is sold head only. It is located in France. I obviously don’t have any references as a seller but many as a buyer.

My price is now 875€ + shipping (was 950). Bank wire, wise or paypal f&f possible
I tried pricing it accordingly to previous sales here and the outstanding condition of the watch. Feel free to tell me if I’m wrong somewhere 😀

Probably the last price reduction to 775€ 😀

is it the reference not interesting anyone? Or the price? I really felt like I saw inferior examples selling easily in that price range…But maybe I missed something?

Perhaps your offer for trades for basically the same watch might make some hesitant? Anyways patience is a virtue and Devilles seem to be for sale everywhere and prices for them look to range from $400 on up lately so gotta wait it out 👍

Thanks for your comments!
You’re right, my trade offers are not specific enough! I’m more into earlier 4 digits seamaster : 2639, 2990, 2937, etc. 😁

Once had some questions about the movement and potential damages to the caseback or corrosion between the lugs :
- no corrosion at all between the lugs, just some DNA from the previous owner 😁
- absolutely nothing on the caseback

- while I don’t have the means to open the movement, it works quite nice, never more than a 10s difference on any position on the timegrapher :

any picture or video possible on demand 😀
