Hi everybody,

It's been a while since I have been on this forum. A couple of years back some of you guys we're kind enough to give me some advice on buying an Omega Seamaster DeVille. I had it for a year or so and due to certain circumstances I had to let go of it. I've been looking to buy another one ever since but never really had the opportunity(money wise). I saved up some money and finally have the chance to activally search for a good and clean example. So here I am again asking you guys for your expertise. Please see the pictures and tell me if its legit. Thank you very much!!

At first glance, both of the watches look legit, but the cases have been polished.

The crowns are maybe replacements.

Something appears wrong with the 9 o'clock marker on the first watch above, but that's maybe just the picture?

You should add a picture of the movement of the first or the second watch for closer inspection and a close up picture of the dial from the second watch as well.

You been drinking?

One should drink a lot over the day, but I had seen two different watches here. This might be wrong depending on the pics.

I was suggesting that someone was seeing double, not commenting on the watch.

I was commenting and said what I think.

I am seeing two different dial colours and two different case colours, but maybe I'm too blind to see.

Watch is legit (if over-polished) and movement looks clean! But then again, I’m three sheets to the wind!

iudicent populum.

Judging people is very difficult.

It can hurt sometimes and it can be wrong.

I am open for further discussion.

I still think these two watches are two watches and not one.

It's not really important, after all, unless the OP could be protected from possible scam and that's why he came here, maybe.

Watch looks fine and not excessively polished, note the crisp facets still clearly evident on the back. These Swiss gold cases tend to be a bit different in the lug design than their more common American counterparts.

Crown is a replacement (probably the one Omega now recommends for this case).

I would like to see a couple dial shots lit the same before making any call on that aspect.

I would like to see if the watch for sale is gold or stainless steel with a gilt crown.

Since we have confirmed that all photos are of the same watch and the first photo shows gold hallmarks, I think we can also conclude it is a gold case.

Ok. If "we have confirmed that all photos are of the same watch", then I will have to recalibrate my monitor.
