It exactly does that, the tritium dots at hour markers will glow for 10-20 sec and then fade, same as the hands, thanks for the tip

With the front opening case design these watches are more water resistant and tend to have been opened less over the years, and you can find excellent dial condition like yours here with intact lume. Very nice example.
