    Hey!

I recently bought this Omega seamaster cosmic 166.017-107 and i was woundering if a orignial bracelet is available. Ive been doing some reasearch but with limited success.

New to this forum so excuse me if there is already a suitable thread.

So basicly where to find, if possible and what is a reasonable price?

    Thanks

I think they came with various options - a beads of rice (probably 1068), the 1035, or the 1125.

Prices vary from $150 to $1500+

I had a similar cosmic which had 1171 bracelet on it with some end links I don't have any more nor do I remember the numbers. But the bracelet was 1171 for sure.

like in many cases and especially back in the day when things like bracelets and boxes were not controlled as hard as they are today by Omega the same model could come out on various bracelets at various dealers/markets. Just think of the Holzer bracelets

As above - they can go on a standard 9-row beads of rice bracelet, but you might have difficulty finding end links to fit. I think 528 links are the right ones. Nice-looking watch btw.

Are you sure an 1171 fits this type of Cosmic?

The 1171 are generally for 20mm lugs and I'm pretty sure this ref has 18/19mm lugs and therefore uses the narrower 1125.

I believe the 1171 fits the Cosmic 2000 types and not these Cosmic-s.

I bought one with a 1067 flat link bracelet. I have the endlinks left if someone can use them...

I recently bought a Cosmic (case) on a 1067 flatlink bracelet with 507 Endlinks

And it was also delivered on a 1068 BOR bracelet

And an other Cosmic case (165 / 166.022) came on a 3011 bracelet and also a 1040 bracelet

1037, 1068 and 8270 are all basically the same 9-row BOR and would all fit this watch with the right links. Those IMO are the most likely bracelets to have been supplied with this watch at the time.

    Depends what you're looking for.

You can normally find a reasonably priced BoR within a few weeks on eBay. If you want something immediately you'll often have to pay a slight premium.

Yea thats pretty much what i imagined, but paying like 800bucks for a BoR seems a bit to painful :)

No way do you have to pay anything remotely near that! A quarter of that price or less when I last looked.
