·Here today for sale I have this Omega Seamaster Cosmic 136.017. Last year I sold an almost identical 135.017 no-date and it's now time for this one to also make way.
The Seamaster Cosmic line was introduced in the late 60's and has a solidly constructed monocoque case and for me this is the most attractive variant in steel with an ink black crosshair dial.
The steel case is in very good shape, with a diameter of 35,5mm which for some reason does feel larger on the wrist. 19mm lugs. I really like the case back on these with the Seamonster logo, reference and other numbers still crisp and clear. Omega crown.
The black crosshair dial with raised steel indices is what made me buy this watch in the first place. It is in absolutely perfect condition with a cool black date wheel. The white tritium filled hour and minute hands offer very good legibility and contrast and the steel seconds hand finishes the look well. The crystal has the Omega logo. There are a couple of light scuffs to the crystal around the 4 o'clock which I noticed whilst reviewing the photo's, these I will Polywatch out before shipping.
Being a monocoque case I haven't been able to open this up to take pictures of the cal 613 manual wind movement as I am technically illiterate and unable to do so. It is winding, setting and running very well. The quick set date functions perfectly. The time keeping is very good although I haven't had it serviced whilst in my ownership.
I'm selling this one head only but can include a matching leather strap if required.
€795 net to me will include worldwide Track & Trace shipping. Payment by bank transfer or Pay Pal for well established forum members only.
Any questions?...Just ask!😀
