Hey guys,

Hope everyone is fine! Has been quite some time since I actively engaged here last time :whipped:

Actually I found some time to surf through the bay and somehow I have the weird idea that I must add a golden watch to my collection 😕 maybe start with a gold cap I thought.

I am a big fan of the end 60ies Seamaster monoblock cases. Now I found this gold capped version:

https://www.ebay.de/itm/Omega-Seama...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2764.l2649

I value your opinion on the gold capped Seamaster Cosmics. Do you have any experience on the durability of the gold capping?

Cheers mates! Thomas

I can't see it, as the sale ended. Gold cap on Omega seems quite durable though. The cap on my 1959 Constellation is quite thick, as you can see looking at the back of the lugs.
